Project Description:

Enhancing Digital tools for an Inclusive Dyslexia Adult Education, number ID 2022-1-IT02-KA220-ADU-000087842, is a project funded by the Erasmus Plus - Adult Sector programme, which aims to deepen knowledge on the phenomenon of adult dyslexia and on the effective methodologies that can facilitate the learning process for teachers and professionals who work with adults. In particular, we want to strengthen the skills and abilities of adult educators and trainers by providing them with innovative solutions based on a digital approach to teach adults with dyslexia.

Target Group:

Adult educators, adult learners, researchers, and policymakers constitute the project target groups.

Final Results: 

  1. One Handbook that will provide a general understanding of the signs and symptoms of dyslexia as well as the most effective dyslexia strategies for remediation;
  2. 5 DYGI4ADU video training modules: Learning to Achieve
  3. One web platform (Open learning space) DYGI4ADU;
  4. at least 60 Adult learners and experts testing the platform;
  5. Six (6) national Policy Recommendations;
  6. at least -180 participants in multiplier regional events;
  7. 100 participants in the final Conference;
  8. website dedicated to the project + diffusion materials.

KICK-OFF MEETIING

The Kick-off Meeting was an initial organizational meeting where the Quality Assurance Committee was established, the Quality Plan and Risk Management Plan were presented, and key monitoring indicators were defined. Responsibilities were assigned, monitoring tools were introduced, and mechanisms for ensuring project success were discussed.

MEETING IN LATVIA

The second transnational project meeting of the Dyslexia project took place on March 18th and March 19th, 2024 in Riga. The meeting focused on the development of video courses, the preparation of the learning space and platform, and dissemination activities, including online events and the final conference in Bulgaria. Additionally, new deadlines for tasks were set, and partners exchanged information on the next steps, including the approval of new plans and project documents.

INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE IN RUSE

The 3rd Transnational Project Meeting in Ruse, Bulgaria, focused on improving digital tools for dyslexia adult education. It covered project updates, E-learning testing, policy recommendations, and finances, concluding with a conference on December 3, 2024. Educators and professionals shared best practices and firsthand experiences, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange.
